Sex education columnist for the Bottom Line, avid blogger, yoga addict, novel writer, tea drinker and coffee chugger, I live a productive life. While I juggle a full course load at Frostburg State University, I work as a web content manager for the FSU English Department's webpage, as a beat reporter, and I try to keep my social and private lives balanced.

I get asked "Why a sex blog?" on a regular basis. The answer I give always seems to surprise people.

All I hope to gain from my beat reporting  is the satisfaction of knowing that I, by simply providing weekly articles and updates, have made an impact on someone's life.

People often seem wary of discussing sex and gender, and I love a challenge. I aim to write about anything and everything that could help someone else discover their identity, learn something new, or get a medical procedure done that they had not though to ask about before seeing my blog.

Apart from madly smashing my fingers against a keyboard pumping out article after article, I like petting my hedgehog, strumming songs on my soprano ukulele, and playing in the dirt (really though, I off-road and four wheel and gun shoot just about every weekend).
